The event will take place on Saturday, October 31st from 12:30-2:00 p.m. We hope you will consider coming out to Needham for a few hours of fun to show your support for Walker!

Activities will include decorating pumpkins, a donut on a string eating contest, making Halloween masks, decorating Halloween candy bags, and more! Come out to have some fun with the WYPG and the kids at Walker!

Water Carnival 7/15/09

Please RSVP to Nicole Darrell by July 6th to join us for this activity. When you arrive, please report to the picnic tables near the brown barn. Volunteer assignments will include; running a booth with water games, passing out prizes, and helping with the bbq! Walker staff will also be on site to help facilitate the games. We hope to see you there!

Please join the Walker Young Professionals Group as we kick off summer aboard the Majestic Princess on Friday, June 26, 2009. The cruise along Boston Harbor is from 8-10:30 p.m. and includes open bar offering premium liquor, beer, wine and soft drinks, delicious appetizers and hors d’oeuvre service, along with great music and dancing! We will also be holding a special Red Sox raffle at the event.

Purchase your tickets by May 30th and pay only $60 per person. After May 30th tickets are $65 before the event and $75 at the door.

All proceeds will benefit Walker, a network of facilities and professionals that provides world-class mental health services, state-of-the-art special education, expert professional training and consultation, and child welfare advocacy. Our location in Needham, Massachusetts, provides a range of services to 3- to 13 year-old emotionally, behaviorally, and learning disabled students and their families. We hope you will join us for what promises to be a fabulous night getting to know the Walker Young Professionals Group and raising much needed funds for Walker!

WalkerYPG is hosting our 4th Annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament! The event will take place on Saturday, March 14, from 1-4 p.m. at Basketball City in Downtown Boston. 

Each player will receive a complimentary t-shirt, automatic entry to our raffle, participation in the tournament, and an invitation to the Bell in Hand after-party with free food! Prizes will be awarded to first and second place teams. This year’s champion team will receive FIVE tickets to the Friday, April 10th CELTICS game vs. Miami!

 

The registration fee prior to February 16th is $35 per person; and after February 16th $45 per person. All registrations and payment are due by Monday, March 2, 2009. At least three players must register and pay in full in order to officially register a team, and additional players may be added there after. You may register up to five players per team.

If you are not interested in playing, we welcome you to come cheer on your favorite team and attend the Bell in Hand after-party! Wristbands are $5 and will allow access to the after-party, free food, and entry to our raffle.

All proceeds will benefit Walker (a non-profit organization based in Needham, Massachusetts, that provides a range of services to 3- to 22-year-old emotionally, behaviorally, and learning disabled students and their families).
