We have renamed our group from Walker Young Professionals Group (WYPG) to Friends of Walker. We feel this new name broadens the group, and better describes our composition!
Thank you to all who came out to Tasca on November 5th! The event raised $1,400 in support of the children and families that Walker serves. All of us from the Walker Young Professional Group are grateful for your support!

Bring your colleagues, family and friends, and enjoy a great dinner for a great cause! Every dollar spent on food by reserved guests will be donated directly to Walker.

We would like to invite you to join us and the children of Walker for our annual Walker Fun Day! Walker Fun Day is an afternoon full of fun carnival activites for the kids here on our Needham campus. Walker’s Young Professional Group will be sponsoring the cotton candy booth and we are looking for individuals to help out. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 19th from 3:30-7 p.m. We hope you will consider coming out to Needham for a few hours of fun to have fun with the kids and show your support for Walker! Walker Young Professionals Group is excited to announce Walker’s Second Annual B-Ball Bonanza! The event will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2007 from 1pm-4 pm at Basketball City in Downtown Boston. All proceeds will benefit Walker, a nationally accredited non-profit organization based in Needham, that provides a range of services to 3- to 22 year old emotionally, behaviorally, and learning disabled students and their families.Please check out the attached flyer and registration form for more details.
