The Walker Gala event last weekend was a great success. In attendance from the wypg were Nicole Darrell, Amy Perna, Heather Sullivan, Meagan Burke, John Hayes, Josh Lechter, Matt Feinberg, and me (Josh Ain). The gala honored Intex Solutions, Matt’s employer, and Matt gave a great speech accepting the award. There were a number of other young people in attendance at the Gala, and we hope they will join us, at future WYPG events!
Thanks to all those whose hard work made the gala a success.
Photos from our first annual WYPG boat cruise are now up at our brand new photo gallery. One of these photos is going out with the Walker newsletter. Thanks to everyone who attended for helping make the event a success!
The Annual Walker Gala last night was a great success! Walker raised over 266,000 through the gala and its silent and live auctions. I failed to win any of my auctions this year, but John did make himself a ‘Sports Sponser’ for Walker (Though rumor has it he was holding up Meagan’s auction number at the time!).
We talked up the Young Professionals group with some of the Walker Employees at the gala — some of them were interested in joining us.
In attendance at the Gala from the WYPG were John Hayes, Meagan Burke, Josh Ain, Rachelle Hassan, and Amie Jackson.
We held a 3 on 3 basketball tournament last weekend. I was not able to attend, so I can’t share the full details, but it sounded like a blast — and we raised some good money for WYPG.
In attendance were John Hayes, Meagan Burke, Todd Brown, and Amie Jackson.
Thanks for organizing this event John and Meagan!
